We both grew up in Argentina and found each other when we were ready to start traveling the world. Fast forward a few years and a lot of kilometers, and we found ourselves in Australia.
After a year here (and then a pandemic) we decided to stay and make camp in Tasmania. Once we settled we put our creative skills at work and created Mozoph Weddings.
To our utmost pleasure, we found an incredible community and hundreds of lovely couples who shared our vision in this remote island at "the end of the world".
Now we are ready to document your love story here or wherever in the world you want to take us!
We would be honored to be your photographer or videographer on your wedding day creating and capturing precious memories.
We're Mauricio and Gisela! (Or you can call us Moz & Gi) a happily married couple who share a passion for art.
"Photography is not just a skill to be learned, it's an art to be discovered. And when a person finds that passion within, they capture the world in a way that only their eyes can see."
Moz's story begins in Mar del Plata, a beautiful beachside city in Argentina. It was there that he would later meet the love of his life. As a teenager, his sister took up a photography course and received a camera from their father. Driven by curiosity, Moz picked up that camera one day and discovered a new world through the lens. While his sister's interest in photography eventually waned, Moz's passion only grew stronger with time.
Gi, also an Argentine native, grew up in a small town in the heart of Buenos Aires province. One of Gi's lifelong passions is drawing, but her love for family memories and stories is even greater. She cherishes her childhood photos and videos from the 90s (yes, she has heaps!) and relishes in the opportunity to go through old family albums, from her parents' childhood in the 70s, to her grandparents' wedding in the 50s and 60s. For Gi, capturing memories through her camera is more than just a profession - it's a way to preserve precious moments that will be treasured for years to come.
“In a world so vast and full of wonders, it's a magical feeling to know that two passionate souls have found each other. Together, they create their own universe, filled with love, laughter, and adventure.”
We met by chance, in 2015, after we both booked the same visa agency to move to the USA.
We were living in colorado when, after being friends with benefits for some time, he casually said "I'm tired of explaining our relationship, can I just say you're my girlfriend?" And the rest is history.
In 2017, we embarked on an unforgettable adventure backpacking through Asia. Over the course of four months, we explored six different countries and made memories that will stay with us forever.
It was 2019 in Colorado when he got down on one knee and popped the question. With plans already in motion to move to Australia, we decided to plan the wedding in just four months and had a wonderful celebration with our loved ones in Argentina.
Initially just a stop on our journey, Tasmania captured our hearts with its stunning beauty, and with a little push from Cov!d, we knew we had found our new home.
"Our home is filled with the pitter-patter of tiny paws and the sound of our laughter as a family of four."
Gi was always a cat lover, Moz attracts animals like a Disney princess. Our nomad lives were not compatible with the idea of having a pet, until three years in Tasmania without moving made us wonder if we could actually make it work.
We both believe that in life you don't force things, they just happen. (not sure if I should call it fate, but life has proven over and over again that some things are just meant to be) So when we settled with the idea of having a fur baby, She just happened to be looking for a home.
Nugget, Muffin, Potato, Pickles.
Those were the names we had in mind. Food names are the best, and the minute we saw her, we knew straight away: She was a Pickles.
Our family was complete in late May 2022. And while we still have plans to continue to travel, we now have more than one reason to call Tassie our home.
This is us, our cute little family.
Moz, Gi & Pickles.
"Passions are not just hobbies, they're the very things that make our hearts beat faster and our souls come alive. They fuel our purpose and drive us towards our dreams, and when we pursue them, we unlock the truest version of ourselves."
Moz likes reading adventure novels and self improvement books and has a diverse taste in music, ranging from experimental electronic to classical orchestras. He especially admires the works of Joe Hisaishi and has been known to shed a tear or two while listening to the hauntingly beautiful soundtrack of "Princess Mononoke". He holds a degree in music production, and while it's been some time since he last played, he still knows his way around a piano.
Gi is a creative soul who loves to lose herself in the world of art. You can often find her lost in thought, daydreaming up new stories and characters for her fiction novel or comic book. Although her nomadic lifestyle and busy schedule caused her to drop out of the orchestra she played violin for, she still dedicates a few minutes each day to practice some scales and play Vivaldi, never letting go of her passion for music.
Our mutual love for adventure and spontaneity has taken us to incredible destinations around the world. When we're not exploring new places, we enjoy cozying up with each other to watch anime and Korean dramas. There's something special about sharing these experiences together that brings us even closer.
Everything from start to finish with Mozoph was above and beyond. Meeting them for the first time felt like we were catching up with old friends, and then having them at our wedding they felt like they were loved guests rather than a vendor and they were SO happy to be there that it just made us feel so safe in their hands.
From the moment we met you guys we knew we’d chosen the right couple to capture our special day. No request was too big or small. You were so patient with the kids and were just so easy! Every one of our guests commented on how friendly and incredible you both were. There wasn’t a moment that you missed.
Jayden and I searched high and low for the perfect photographers for our wedding and we found ourselves always being drawn back to Mozoph weddings.
From the get go Moz & Gi were so easy to communicate with in all aspects, they are super flexible especially when Jayden and I decided to have videography apart of our day
a week before the wedding.
People usually struggle to pronounce his name, so he just goes by Mauri or Moz (I call him little bug, but you can just probably stick to Moz)
He loves the outdoors, exploring new places and taking risks, but what I love the most about him is his infinite patience and how good he is at listening to others. He has this super positive vision of life that's always reassuring me that everything's gonna be fine.
And I'm very lucky to get to call her MY WIFE
Her bubbly personality and hilarious sense of humour is the most contagious thing and it made me fall for her since minute one. Creative to the core, spontaneous & super duper talented in anything she puts her mind into. I love how transparent she is and how she makes life feel like an adventure. Things can go to very incredible and random places with her and I freaking LOVE that.
Camera magician, Tassie local, nature lover. His rock steady demeanour is like fresh air in the wonderful hot mess of a wedding day. Holds a gazillion hours of experience shooting for an important visual production studio and personal projects.
He has a special eye for details and a caring, down to Earth personality that makes him a great company to have around.
Otherwise affectionately known as Cossie, is a Tassie original that has zest for travel, fun and adventure. She is usually cool, calm and collected but will occasionally show her cheeky side and loves a good laugh!
A great addition to the dream team, who will work hard to fully document your special day.
